2019 Format
Each individual sponsor is paired with a Players Amateur Contestant to create a two man team for an 18 hole competition. Awards will be given out to the top 3 teams at the conclusion of eighteen holes. Each Sponsor will receive 80 % of their overall handicap.
9 Hole Shamble | 9 Hole Best Ball
Front 9 Shamble
The Sponsor and Player will play a Shamble format for holes # 1-9 taking the best score between the two. On each hole of the Shamble the Sponsor has the opportunity to use their players drive and then will play their own ball for the duration of the hole until it is complete. The Sponsor will receive 80 % of their handicap.
Back 9 Best Ball
The Sponsor and Player will play a Best Ball Competition for holes # 10-18. Both the Sponsor and Player on each team will play their own golf ball and on each hole the low score or “best ball” of the group will serve as the team score. This will continue for each hole on the back nine. The Sponsor will receive 80 % of their handicap.
