The Players Amateur distributed donations to three Bluffton non profits on Wednesday, September 23, 2015. The donations were made possible by supporters of the 2015 amateur event held in July at the Berkeley Hall Golf Club. The 2 Club members pledged $2.00 for every two made during the 2015 Players Amateur. Contestants made a total of 147 twos during the four-day competition. The 30 club members raised over $9,000.00. Since its inception in 2013, the 2 Club has donated $52,000 to local charities. Donations were made to the Hospice of the Lowcountry, Bluffton Self Help and the Bluffton Boys and Girls Club.
Additional donations were made to the Berkeley Hall Charitable Foundation and the South Carolina Junior Golf Foundation.
